Beautycounter is recruiting for Part Time Freelance Sales Specialists to service and develop Beautycounter sales within ULTA stores. This role is responsible for maximizing sales through the introduction and education of Beautycounter products to the ULTA customer. Through brand education, product knowledge and stellar customer service, you are able to assist clients in the selection and purchase of all Beautycounter products. Candidates should have an unwavering passion for connecting with consumers through sales. This role reports to the Regional Sales and Training Executive.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming environment for the client, focusing on a dynamic and creative experience with equal emphasis on driving top line sales.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales and productivity goals. Be results-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be comfortable working in multi-branded environments alongside representatives from competitive cosmetic brands.
  • Provide applications of skincare and color products.
  • Build rapport and relationships with sales associates and department managers to grow and further develop the brand.
  • Engage and build relationships with clients while best understanding their interests and needs. Offer product suggestions through education and demonstration while closing the sale.
  • Utilize company tools and resources to build a strong sales and a client base.
  • Initiate, create and execute on floor selling events and inform clients of current promotions and book events accordingly.
  • Responsible for the overall stock levels and ensure appropriate product mix of stock is available in the stores by assuring timely ordering, proactively monitoring and resolving low or out of stock conditions (works with head office).
  • Ensure Beautycounter merchandising is adequately stocked, cleaned and properly merchandised.
  • Ensure that all testers within the Beautycounter area are continuously maintained in compliance with the hygiene standards. Maintain consistent standards of cleanliness, maintenance and organization.
  • Assist with non-sell tasks as required. Be flexible and have the ability to handle change in a positive manner.
  • Communicate any inventory concerns to Beautycounter Regional Sales and Training Manager while ensuring all SKU's are represented on the sales floor.
  • Inform the ULTA associates of the brand, product features & benefits of Beautycounter products.
  • Provide concise feedback from the field to Regional Sales and Training Manager. Fill out sales data reports as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop best practices and drive team performance, attend meetings as required.
  • Present and reinforce a professional appearance and maintain the Company's appearance and dress code standards at all times, Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Be a Beautycounter brand ambassador at all times.

The role of Beautycounter Part Time Freelance Sales Specialist-ULTA is standard of other retail roles, requiring work on weekends and early evenings, especially during holiday time. Scheduling of hours is prioritized based on store promotion calendars, travel and events. Some physical effort is required, such as unpacking and packing materials, setting up displays, and much of day is spent standing on feet in-store. This position requires travel to key doors within the defined territory/market.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience working with prestige cosmetic brands
  • Proven track record for exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • A passion for education and product knowledge
  • Makeup artistry experience
  • Training/seminar experience a plus
  • Self-starter, well organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within the ULTA retail environment is preferred

Pay: $25 - $28 per hour for work locations in the United States, with individual pay determined by several factors including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, education, and training. Salary ranges are determined in good faith by role, level, and location. As a remote-eligible job, a narrower salary range for a candidate's preferred location may be available.

Part Time Freelance Sales Specialists will be payrolled through an agency partner. Full Time HQ Associates are eligible for bonus and benefits below. #LI-Remote #LI-JS1

Bonus: Additional compensation includes an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
